As above was created by layering dozens of balloons that have washed up on local beaches. The name is inspired by the phrase, ‘as above, so below’. I want to challenge and inspire us all to be stewards of our oceans, to treat the water around us as we would our home environment. Ocean health equates to health for us all.

Creation Process
Jackie’s primary medium is marine debris that she cleans off Massachusetts beaches. The beach trash and marine debris that she works with includes fishing rope, balloons, bottle caps, buoys, plastic packaging, lobster traps, and much more.
