'Wild Carrot' is inspired by the delicate beauty of Queen Ann's Lace that is mostly viewed as a weed. But, it is native to New England and I think it is wild and beautiful. I've incorporated dock foam, mylar balloons, rubber, plastic sheeting, and much more into this piece.

Creation Process
Jackie’s primary medium is marine debris that she cleans off Massachusetts beaches. The beach trash and marine debris that she works with includes fishing rope, balloons, bottle caps, buoys, plastic packaging, lobster traps, and much more.
