Summer Water

This bright and versatile piece was created entirely from shavings off large blocks of dock foam that regularly wash ashore. These particular blocks of foam I picked up from the Allerton Hill sea wall where they had blown in and been trapped.

This painting would make a perfect for a home that wants to evoke the feel of the ocean and nautical themes without being too literal. It can complement contemporary, traditional, beachy, and minimal home design. There is real flow, movement, and texture- even embedded shells- that will bring joy and interest into any space.
